“K.K.” Smith


POOLVILLE — Kermit Kraft “K.K.” Smith, 80, peacefully passed away Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012 at his home in Poolville.

K.K. was a lifetime resident of Poolville. He was employed at General Dynamics/Lockheed for 42 years, before retiring in 1993. He was a current member of the Santa Fe Sam’s RV Club, and Oak Tree Baptist Church.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jan, of Poolville; children, Barry Smith and wife Tina, of Gunter, Denise Yankie and husband Jim, of Poolville and Brian Smith and wife Paula, of Poolville. He was “Papa” to grandchildren, Brandon Smith, Lacey Yankie, Katy Johnson and husband Dean, and Carly Smith.

Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in Biggers Funeral Chapel in Lake Worth. Interment will be at 11:30 a.m. in Poolville Cemetery. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Biggers Funeral Home.
