Eufemio was born in Santo, Texas, on March 20, 1933, to Narciso and Bernabe Valtierra. Raised in Weatherford, he worked at General Dynamics and later started Valtierra Cleaning, a carpet cleaning business still operated by his daughter and her husband. Among several things, Eufemio was a veteran, an avid golfer, a Knights of Columbus member, and enjoyed numerous other activities but he took most pride in being a father and grandfather.
He has made the final transition and is now joyously resting, alongside his wife, Josefa, and son, Christopher who preceded and awaited his arrival.
Surviving “Da Da” are his daughter, Michel Kinder and her husband, Matt, and their daughters Maddi, Brittany Jimenez and husband, Jory, and Christin Schimmelbusch. He will be remembered as a doting and loving grandfather who would do anything for them. Eufemio also will be remembered by sisters, Julia Willingham and Simona Kelican, and brothers, Juan and Diego Valtierra and wife Angela, and German Valtierra and wife, Katherine. Also surviving are a host of nephews, nieces, and cousins as well as many friends made throughout his life in Weatherford.
