— Millie Jeline “Bobby” Young-Webb, 94, died Sept. 24, 2013, in Weatherford.

Graveside service is 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27, at East Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel, which is in charge of arrangements.

Bobby was born Jan. 24, 1920, in Big Springs to Woodrow and Lula Bell West Hall. Bobby and her husband “Steve” Young moved to Weatherford in April 1946, where Steve went to work for the City of Weatherford. Steve was killed July 13, 1946, in a fall as an electrician for the city.  Bobby remained in Weatherford, where she raised their four children and later went to work for the City of Weatherford in the Water and Light Department ,where she worked until her retirement.

She is survived by sons, Marvin Young, of Washington state, and Jim Young, of Weatherford; daughter, Ann Durant and husband, Chubby, Durant; daughter-in-law; Lynn Young; special friend Kathy Young; seven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and sister, Eveline Hixenbough, of Albuquerque, N.M. 

Mrs. Webb is preceded in death by her first husband, Steve Young; second husband, Elmer Webb; oldest son, Don Young; five sisters; two brothers; and her mother and father.

Memorials may be made to the Weatherford Parker County Animal Shelter.
