Mandy Renee Cantu

Mandy Renee Cantu, age 30, passed away Friday, Feb. 21, 2014, in Weatherford. 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 26, from 6-8 p.m. with Rosary slated at 7 p.m. at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, Feb. 27 at 2 p.m. at St. Stephens Catholic Church with Father John Casey officiating. Interment will be at East Greenwood Cemetery.

Mandy was born July 13, 1983, to Mike Cantu and Mamie Gonzales, in Weatherford. She was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church and a homemaker. Mandy volunteered at Juan Seguin Elementary School.

She is survived by her fiancée, Alex Alba, of Fort Worth; her daughter, Esmarina Alba, of Weatherford; son, Sebastian Garcia, of Weatherford; parents, Mike Cantu and Mamie Gonzales; brothers, Mikey Cantu, Jr., and Ulysses Gonzales, both of Weatherford; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Librado Cantu, Sr.; grandmother, Juanita Fonseca, of Weatherford; uncles, Richard Cantu and wife, Blanche Cantu, of Saginaw, Librado Cantu, Jr. and wife, Stephanie Cantu, of Haltom City; cousins, Rachel Cantu, Alan Hyatt, Dominick Hyatt, Gabby Perez, Tiffany Cantu and Zach Cantu.

She is preceded in death by grandfather, Manuel Fonseca; uncle, Jamie Fonseca.
