Janet King passed away March 1, 2014, and is now at peace in heaven with her father, Leonard Dickler, and mother, Irene Dickler.
Janet was born in Long Island, NY, Feb. 4, 1960. In 1975, the family moved to Fort Lauderdale, Fl., where Janet lived until relocating to Texas in 1990. She worked at Kroger’s Supermarket for 15 years.
She is survived by her husband, William King; two sons, Eric and Benjamin Cooper; five stepchildren, Laurie Coleman, Sharon Grissom, Kenneth Schimmelbusch and Ronald and William King; three sisters, Debra, Linda and Susan; three brothers, Henry, Eddie and Mike; six grandchildren, Richy, Kendra, Nathan, Houston, Joey and Abby; many neices and nephews and so many people she helped through life.
She will be missed by all who knew and loved her; a loving wife, mother, sister, Nana, aunt and friend to all who knew her.
A memorial service will be held at New River Fellowship in Hudson Oaks at 1 p.m. Wednesday. Flowers may be delivered between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Wednesday.
