Vernon “Bud” Ragle

Vernon “Bud” Ragle, 79, of Weatherford, died Thursday afternoon, Nov. 14, 2013.

Service is 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 18, at South Main Church of Christ with interment in Memory Gardens. Visitation is 6-7:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

He was born Aug. 10, 1934, in the Dicey Community, and was a resident of Weatherford and Parker County all his life. He was former the owner of Ragle Glass Company and member of the South Main Church of Christ. Bud was a loving husband, father and papa and he loved hunting, fishing and gardening.

Survivors include his wife, Jimmie Ragle, of Weatherford; daughter, Laurie Ball and husband, Larry, of Weatherford; sons, Gene Ragle and wife, Tracy, of Weatherford, and Wesley Ragle, of Weatherford; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Marilyn Warren, of Weatherford, Wanda Moran, of Weatherford, and Martha Gagnon, of Weatherford; and brothers, Dwayne Ragle, of Sulphur Springs, and Ronnie Ragle, of Saginaw.
