— Dorothy Ida Groh, 91, of Weatherford, died Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013, in a local nursing facility.

Service is 2 p.m. Friday at Central Christian Church. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Poe Prairie Cemetery. Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Dorothy was born March 28, 1922, in Quincy, Ill., to Marriam Hildred and Oliver Elliott Waddell.

Mrs. Groh was a cook at the Pythian Home for 23 years prior to her retirement in 1992. She was a longtime resident of Weatherford and a member of Central Christian Church.

Survivors include her daughters, Joyce Burdett and husband, Charles, of Lamesa, and Jeannie Moore and husband, Bill, of Weatherford; sons, Larry Odom-Groh and wife, Melanie, of Louisville, Ky., Theodore Groh and wife, Lanelle, of Bossier City, La., and Garland Groh and wife, Sandra, of Weatherford; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters; two brothers; and a great-grandson, Jade Jarrett.
