Norma Louise Dunnington

Norma Louise Dunnington, 72, died Friday, Nov. 1, 2013.

Service is 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, at New Hope Baptist Church in Weatherford with Rev. Curtis Jefferson officiating and interment to follow at East Greenwood Cemetery. There will be a viewing at the church beginning at 9 a.m. Services are under the professional care and direction of Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel. She is now home with the Lord.

Norma was born Sept. 25, 1941, to Noial Williams and Lee Edna Dillard Williams in Taylor, Texas. Norma retired from civil service working as a paralegal in medical claims recovery and government claims for the 7th Bomb Wing, office of the Staff Judge Advocate, Dyess Air Force Base, Abilene.

Norma leaves to cherish her memories her husband of 51 years, Charles A. Dunnington, of Weatherford; son, Rodney Dunnington and wife, Wendy, of Arlington; daughter, Carmen Cooks and husband, Gary, of Dallas; two grandchildren, LaShonda and Candace Cooks, of Dallas; sisters, Lula Mae Bishop, of Los Angeles, Calif., Edna Mae Thomas (James), of Los Angeles, and Zenobia Judkins, of Alaska; brothers, Norman Williams, of Austin, and Sammie Lee Williams, of Fort Worth; and an uncle, Donald Ray Dillard (Marilyn), of Rosenberg.
