— Bill C. Prichard, 76, a longtime Parker County resident, died early Tuesday morning, Feb. 4, 2014, following a lengthy illness.

Service is 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7, at Lakeshore Baptist Church. Interment will be in Bethel Cemetery. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel, which is in charge of arrangements.

He was born July 18, 1937. Bill grew up in the Harmony community and was the son of Verdie and Clara Prichard, who preceded him in death. He attended Weatherford schools and Weatherford College. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. Bill served in the banking business in Weatherford and Fort Worth for 30 years and was a long-haul truck driver for 10 years. He was a member of Lakeshore Baptist Church, where he sang bass in the Joyful Singers Choir. Bill was a friend to everyone he met and will be missed by all who had known him.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy; a son, Alan Prichard, of Weatherford; a daughter, Marla Davy and husband, Rhett, of Lindsay; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; other relatives; and a host of friends.
