MILLSAP – Charles Franklin Turrentine, 86, retired vice president of operations for E Systems and Boeing Aircraft, died Nov. 10, 2013.
Service is 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 15, at Lacy Funeral Home Chapel, in Stephenville, with Rev. Cathryn Turrentine officiating. Burial will follow at noon at Zephyr Cemetery in Zephyr. Arrangements are by Lacy Funeral Home.
Charles was born in Plainview, Texas, on May 4, 1927, to Frank and Oudia (Hamilton) Turrentine.
Charles was a member of the Baptist church, the Independent Order of Odd Fellows (IOOF), and was a Master Mason of the Masonic Lodge. He was also a World War II Navy veteran.
He is survived by his daughter, Cathryn Turrentine, of Keene; N.H.; sons, Frank Turrentine, of Millsap, and Daniel Turrentine, of Denton; cousins, Denver Way, Delwyn Way, Billy Way, Wally Evans, Naoma Birkner, Neva Grace Steiner and Roger Hamilton.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Stites, in December 2010.
