Shelly Jean Tucker Howell, 50, of Weatherford, became an angel Thursday, April 24, 2014.
A graveside service will be Sunday, Bosley Cemetery at 3 p.m. Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Shelly was born June 27, 1963, in Del Rio, Texas to Glen Lazrine and Beulah Fern Pope, of Weatherford. She worked hard all her life. She brought her family together with board games, cards, dominoes and was very competitive herself. She was an excellent cook.
Survivors include her husband, David Howell, of Weatherford; daughters, Amber Tucker, of Eastland, Jacqueline Tucker and husband, James Errin, of Weatherford; step-sons, Johnny Tucker, Jack Tucker Jr. and Owen Ford, all of San Leon; grandchildren, Tessa Cates and Tristan Cates, of Eastland, and Max Erwin, of Weatherford; sisters, Shirely Whitner, of Aguilar, Mississippi, Billie Hunt of, Tylers, Pat McCoury, of San Saba, Texas and Brenda Novelle, of Weatherford; and a brother, Allen Pope, of Fort Worth.
Shelly is preceded in death by her mother, father and a sister, Nancy Jean Kitts.
