— Betty Jo Bolyn, 67, a lifelong resident of Weatherford, died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, in Fort Worth.

Service is 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, in White’s Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. Interment will be in Greenwood Community Cemetery. Visitation is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Betty Jo Bolyn was born June 8, 1945, in Weatherford, daughter of the late Lawrence and R.V. Cooper Stultz. Betty was most proud that she was a born-again Christian, having been saved at the age of 16 at South Side Baptist Church in Weatherford. She was a soul winner and had a big influence on the people with whom she interacted. Betty never met a stranger. Her hobbies included outdoor activities and working with flowers. She is now home with Jesus.

Survivors include a son, Eddie Bolyn and wife, Ginger, of Burleson; grandchildren, Brea and River Bolyn, of Burleson; sister, Patsy Hill, of Weatherford; numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins; and a host of loving friends.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Fry Bolyn, in 2007; her parents; and a sister, Nettie Kachnovich.
