Ronald Earl Collier

Ronald Earl Collier, 72, of Weatherford, died Monday, July 22, 2013.

A memorial service is 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 26, at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel. He is now with the Lord, Jesus Christ.

He was born Feb. 22, 1941, in San Antonio. Ron married his wife, Shirley, on July 28, 1984. He served in the U.S. Naval Armed Forces. His biggest passion was singing and his love for music continued throughout his life long after he stopped performing professionally. One of his many accomplishments included being the sole proprietor of CMS Air & Heating for 15 years and in that time he taught his son and many others the trade as well. He loved hunting, fishing, and exploring the great outdoors.

Ron is survived by his loving wife, Shirley; beloved children, Mark Collier and wife, Natalie, Samantha Craig, Robin Jackson and husband, Robert, Ron Collier and wife, Kristen, Veronica Hastings and husband, Tommie, and Ryan Collier and wife, Amy; 14 grandchildren, Craig, Sarah, Christopher, Tyler, Tanya, George Ray, Quinton, Greyson, Emma, Ethan, Suzy, Paige, Riley and Khloe; two great-grandchildren, Adin and Hunter.

Mr. Collier is preceded in death by his daughter, Cindy Cervantes; and brothers, Jerry and Perry Holt.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations be made to the memorial account under Ryan Collier at First National Bank in Weatherford. Donations can be mailed to 220 Palo Pinto St., Weatherford, TX 76086.
