WEATHERFORD — Marjorie Winburn, 77, passed away Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012.
Marjorie was born in Aransas Pass on Sept. 11, 1934 to Samuel and Myrtle O’Lindy. She moved to Weatherford in 1996. She loved to go to antique car shows and was also very interested in crafts and jewelry making.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Don; sisters, Wanda Cooper and Dorothy Worthy; and nephew, Larry Whitley.
Survivors include her daughter, Paula Smith; grandson, Dayne Smith; first husband and life-long friend, Paul Smith; nieces, Patricia “Trissy” Munio and husband, Lloyd, and Donna Wilson and husband, Mike; nephew, James Paul Whitley and wife, Cathy, and Kenny Whitley; and many other family members and friends.
The family would like to send a special thanks to the entire staff at Santa Fe Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Weatherford and Alpha Omega Hospice.
A service will be beld at 10 a.m. Thursday in Laurel Land Chapel of Chimes. Interment will follow at Laurel Land Memorial Park.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
