Jerry Kelley


WEATHERFORD — Jerry Kelley, 77, a lifetime resident of Weatherford, passed away Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012, at his home.

Jerry Lynn Kelley was born Jan. 21, 1935, in Weatherford, son of the late Earl and Ruth Spracklen Kelley. He was an avid sports fan, particularly of the Cowboys and Rangers. Jerry loved to garden and work on tractors.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his dearest friend, Frankie Smith; daughter, Karen Combs and husband, Travis, of Dennis; son, Kerry Kelley and wife, Wendy, of Weatherford; six grandchildren; brother, Rodney Kelley of Houston; sister, Eva Earl Rutledge of Weatherford; and a host of loving family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Spring Creek Cemetery. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at White’s Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford.
