Pollye Smith

Pollye Smith, beloved mother, grandmother and friend, died Feb. 27, 2013.

Service is 2 p.m. Monday, March 4, at South Main Church of Christ with Michael Lum officiating. Visitation is 4-6 p.m. Sunday at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.

Pollye was born Aug. 1, 1928, in Marfa, Texas, to Arthur and Ginger Kelly. Pollye lived most of her life in San Angelo, but moved to Weatherford in 2009 to be closer to her family. She was a member of South Main Church of Christ, where she served diligently, as well as a retired elementary school teacher. Her love for serving Christ and love for others were example of what living life is all about as she lived life to the fullest. She is now in her eternal resting place.

Survivors include her son, Curtis Smith, and wife, Sherri, of Weatherford; grandchildren, Michelle Sims and husband, Drew, of Edmonton, Canada, Anthony Smith and Krystal Smith, of Belton, and Krystle and Joshua Morgan, of Weatherford; and great-grandchildren, Chandler Morgan and Betheny Couch, of Weatherford.
