Sammie Tee Dunn

RANGER – Sammie Tee Dunn, 85, died Saturday, May11, 2013, at Arbor House in Weatherford.

Service is 1 p.m. Thursday, May 16, at Mesquite & Rusk Church of Christ, in Ranger, with burial to follow at 3 p.m. at Erath Garden of Memory in Stephenville. Visitation is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the church.

Mrs. Dunn was born Nov. 5, 1927, in Huckabay (Erath County). She had a strong faith in God and was a member of the Mesquite & Rusk Church of Christ in Ranger. Her husband, Tom Dunn, preceded her in death on May 31, 2012. They were married 65-½ years. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother, a good and honest woman with the highest integrity, and a faithful servant of Jesus Christ.

Survivors include daughters, Dianne Blair and husband, Tom, of Cedar Park, Alicia Belvin and husband, Tom, of Weatherford, and Brenda Anderson and husband, Rex, of Weatherford; a son, Thomas E. Dunn and wife, Vicki, of Glen Rose; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Sammie was also preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Alvin Pack and Addie Pack; brother, Nolan Pack; and sisters, Veda Millican, Verna Morren, Nina Hendrickson and Golda Fron.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Foster’s Home for Children, 1779 N. Graham St., Stephenville, TX.
