Nancy Ann Gandee

Nancy Ann Gandee, age 78, of Weatherford, died Sunday night, Jan. 26, 2014, in Waco. 

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014, in the Galbreaith Pickard Chapel, with interment in Memory Gardens. 

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2014, at the funeral home.

Nancy was born Dec. 15, 1935, in Hermleigh, Texas, and was a resident of Weatherford for many years. She was a homemaker, had a passion for writing poetry and loved music and singing. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby F. Gandee; son, James Driver; brothers, Curtis Richards and Bill Richards; sisters, Nita Smith and Montie Sager; and her parents, David and Emma Richards.

Survivors: daughter, Cynthia Olson, and husband, Rick, of Granbury; daughter-in-law, Christie Driver, of Weatherford; son – Charles Driver and wife, Debbie, of Benbrook; stepdaughter, Ida Mae Gandee, of Arlington; sister, Peggy Sue Heap, of Weatherford; brothers, Jack Richards, of Weatherford, Gene Richards, of Bedford, David Richards, of Weatherford, and Bob Richards, of Weatherford; grandchildren, Jennifer Driver, Ryan Driver, Melissa Townley, Rachel Beck, Justin Olson, Kelsey Beck, Daniel Driver, Kendall Driver and Micah Driver; and great-grandchildren, Colby Townley, Cameron Townley, Corey Townley, Tillman Townley, Brooke Townley, Seth Gilmore and Jack Herrington.
