Larry Wallace McGee, 63, of Weatherford, died Sunday evening, April 28, 2013, in a Fort Worth hospital.
Service is 10 a.m. Thursday, May 2, in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in East Greenwood Cemetery. Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Born Sept. 25, 1949, in New Albany, Miss., he was a resident of Weatherford for several years. Larry was a computer technician, member of the Outreach of Love Church and a graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a degree in religious education. He loved westerns and sports.
Survivors include his wife, Judy McGee; twin daughters, Mary Kathleen McGee and Robert Kelley and Christina Elizabeth McGee; daughter, Rochelle Lee Grimes Hammond; son, Dusty Gene Grimes and wife, Shanda Jane; sister, Carolyn McGee Smith and husband, Earl F.; father-in-law, Hurman Scott; sister-in-law, Penny Opalka and husband, Joe; brothers-in-law, Dan Scott and wife, Lori, and Edward Scott and wife, Hieke; eight grandchildren, Azrael Dean Lorenzo Kelley, Jasmine Kelley, Precious Kelly, Seth Perry Hammond, Cory Jayden Jackson, Elijiah Wade Jackson, Dustyn Gene Grimes and Alyssan Jane Grimes; and several nieces and nephews.
