Juanita “Nita” Ann Lee

WILLOW PARK – Juanita “Nita” Ann Lee, 80, of Willow Park, died July 30, 2013, at home.

Service is 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2, in Greenwood Funeral Home Garden Chapel. Interment is private.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who went to be with her Lord. She will be remembered for her love of gospel music, raising cattle, playing bridge and her faithfulness to her Savior. She was a member of Lakeshore Drive Baptist Church.

Nita was born March 29, 1933, in Hatfield, Ark., and grew up in Big Spring, graduating from Big Spring High School. She graduated from Shannon School of Nursing in San Angelo on Sept. 19, 1953, as a registered nurse and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Texas Christian University in 1968. She dedicated her life to helping others as a nurse working the majority of her career in the Fort Worth and Weatherford area. She achieved many milestones in her career, including Director of Nursing for FTW Osteopathic Hospital and Campbell Hospital in Weatherford as well as state surveyor and investigator for the Texas Department of Human Services.

On Nov. 7, 1953, Nita married the love of her life, Robert Milton Lee, and they remained happily married for 59 years. She was the loving mother of three children, Robert Terry, David Alan and Nancy Jeanette. She was a doting grandmother and great-grandmother.

Survivors include her beloved spouse, Robert M. Lee; children, Terry and Taracia Lee, David and Kayla Lee and Charles and Jeanette Reinert; grandchildren, Robert Eric Lee, Effany Diane Cearly, Rebecca Ember Lee, Ashley Leeanne Reinert and Rachael Loraine Reinert; step-grandchildren, Monty Mitchell and Heather Jennings; great-grandchildren, Brennon Scott, Ellory Cearly and Addison Blair Mitchell; siblings, Johnny Hobbs, Mary Dunbar, Mildred Lea and Beatrice Weaver; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Nita was preceded in death by her mother, Jewel Hobbs Reddell; and her daughter, Sharon Kay.
