Mackenzie Grace Bishop

Mackenzie Grace Bishop, infant daughter of Shelby Decker and Brian Bishop, died peacefully in the arms of family on March 25, 2013.

Graveside service is 10 a.m. Thursday, March 28, in Oakland Cemetery with Rev. Tim Jerrell officiating. Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

She was born at 1:41 p.m. and met the arms of Jesus the same day. Mackenzie’s family was blessed with almost an hour with her before she went to her heavenly home. Mackenzie experienced holding hands with her mommy and daddy, hugs and kisses from her family and being told “I love you” an uncountable amount of times. Mackenzie was deeply loved by her mommy, daddy, grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and many more. She will always be her parents’ precious baby girl and they will hold her again in Heaven one day.

Mackenzie is survived by her parents;  grandparents, LaVerne Decker, Aaron Decker, Julie and B.J. Bishop; great-grandparents, Betty Morris, Jolene and Wesley Jacks, John Hoelter and Jay Bishop; aunts, Lauren Decker, Emma Decker, and uncle Brad Bishop.

She was preceded in death by her great grandfather, Frankie Morris.
