Masal Creed

— Masal Creed, 87, of Weatherford, Texas, passed away Aug. 9, 2012, in Ft. Worth, Texas.

Mrs. Creed was born May 20, 1925, in Troup, Texas, to Jesse Homer and Mattie Hudspeth Evans. Masal grew up in Wills Point, where she attended Turner School in Van Zandt County for a number of years. She lived most of her life in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. She was married 52 years to her husband, Glenn Creed. Masal worked for a number of years as a beautician in Wills Point and spent a total of 56 years as a beautician and was working up to the day she passed away. She loved her family, friends and the Lord. She did volunteer work for the DAV Hospital in Dallas and she was very supportive of the 2nd DIV Indian Head Association.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, William Glenn Creed.

Survivors include daughter, Glenda Hinkel of Weatherford, Texas; son, Richard Creed and wife, Kay, of North Richland Hills, Texas; grandsons, Garry Hinkel and wife, Stephanie, of Weatherford, Texas, Erick Creed of North Richland Hills, Texas, and Kyle Creed, in the U.S. Navy stationed in San Diago, Calif.; granddaughter, Stacy Reyes and husband, Ed, of Vancouver, Wash.; great-granddaughters, Courtney Hinkel of Weatherford, Texas, and Halee Glenn of Ft. Worth, Texas; great-grandson, Grayson Hinkel of Weatherford, Texas; and sister, Norma Clair of Wills Point, Texas.

The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, at Eubank Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Dan Tarno officiating, under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home, Canton. Burial will be in Haven of Memories, Canton, Texas.

Family will receive friends Friday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
