David Franklin “Frank” Howeth, 80, died March 8, 2014, in Cleburne after a lengthy illness.
Service is 2 p.m. Saturday, March 15, at Mountain Valley Funeral Home in Joshua. Interment will be at Georges Creek Cemetery in Glen Rose following the service.
Frank was born Jan. 20, 1934, in Fort Spunky (Hood County) to Garland Melvin Howeth and Lola Mariah Barker Howeth. Frank graduated from Glen Rose High and attended Cisco Junior College. He was the owner of Hydraulics Inc. in Fort Worth for more than 50 years and was an avid breeder of Brangus cattle at his Brock III Farms in Brock.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Russel Howeth; three daughters, Sherre Howeth Graydon and husband, Mike, Dixie Howeth Ernst and husband, Tony, and Jennifer Howeth; two grandsons, Theo Joshua Jemison and Tyler Loyd Ernst; one granddaughter, Ashley Jordan Ernst; and Betty’s extended family of her two daughters and their families.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Justin Dwain Howeth.
