Adrienne Lynn Elliott

Adrienne Lynn Elliott, 37, of Weatherford, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of Ryan Elliott and mother of Chase Elliott.

Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, at Greenwood Funeral Home in Fort Worth, with Stacy Webb officiating.

Visitation: At two different times, 10 a.m. to noon and 6 to 8 p.m. at Greenwood Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to New River Fellowship Church of Hudson Oaks.

Adrienne was born in New Castle, Md., on Dec. 29, 1975, and grew up in Elkton, Md. She was the daughter of James and Barbara Reiss. Adrienne worked at Alcon Laboratories in Fort Worth, as Head of Finance in Research and Development. She earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Goldey-Beacom College. After moving to Fort Worth, Adrienne continued her education at Dallas Baptist University, where she would earn her master’s degree in business administration.

Adrienne was an incredible person and loved spending time outdoors with her two favorite guys, Ryan and Chase, wakeboarding, riding ATV’s, or camping in their RV. She was an avid runner, participating in multiple events, including a half-marathon during her illness.

Adrienne and her family gave their life to the Lord and have been attending New River Fellowship Church, where they were recently baptized as a family. One of Adrienne’s favorite scriptures was, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.” — Mark 5:34
