Elizabeth Pankratz Zuercher

Elizabeth Pankratz Zuercher, 102, died Oct. 5, 2013, joining her husband Laurence, and her nine siblings in Heaven.

Service is 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 14, at the Swiss Church in Whitewater, Kan. Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.  A viewing is 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.

She was residing in a nursing facility in Weatherford. Mrs. Zuercher was a homemaker, the former owner of K&N Root Beer in Weatherford, and a former real estate agent. She was a member of Swiss Church in Whitewater, Kan., and of the auxiliary of  The Gideons International. She loved sewing, jigsaw puzzles, crossword puzzles and crafts.

Mrs. Zuercher is survived by her two sons and their wives, Ronald and Nannette Auercher, of Martinez, Ga., and Dr. Earl and Marie Zuercher, of Weatherford; six grandchildren, Monica, Kenneth, Susan, Christopher, David and Beth; and 14 great-grandchildren.
