Douglas “Doug” Paul Rouse

Douglas “Doug” Paul Rouse died Friday, Oct. 11, 2013, in Temple, Texas.

A memorial service is 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, at North Side Baptist Church in Weatherford. Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Doug was born July 10, 1946, in Louisville, Ky., to James L. Rouse Sr. and Mildred Payne Rouse. He was Navy veteran, serving from March 1965 to March 1969. He worked as a general contractor for many years.

Survivors include his brothers, James L. Rouse Jr. and wife, Beverly, of Benbrook, and Charles Rouse and wife, Kay, of Weatherford; sister, Cova Watkins and husband, Paul, of Fort Worth; and numerous nieces and nephews.
