James Donald “Don” Warren

James Donald “Don” Warren, 80, of Weatherford, died Jan. 1, 2014.

Service is 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 4, at North Main Church of God with Rev. Forest Bass officiating. Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. A private burial will take place in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Fort Worth.

Don was born Aug. 3, 1933 in Van, Texas, to the late Raymond and Elsie Warren. Don was a husband, father and grandfather. In 1997 he married Clera Huett. He was always by her side, helping her and loving her. He loved his family and church family. Don worked for a paint contracting company for 25 years as a bookkeeper.  He also worked 10 years at Freeburg and Associates before his retirement. Don was a man of God. He was an active member of North Main Church of God. He assisted the church with his skills as a bookkeeper for eight years. He is now with the Lord.

Survivors include his wife, Clera; daughters, Donna Atenico and husband, Lowe, of Tyler, and Pam Warren, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; son, Brian Warren, of Little Elm; stepson, Ron Huett and wife, Debbie, of Weatherford; and three grandchildren.
