Dear Editor:

As one drives through Weatherford, it is impossible not to notice the beautiful large churches, college auditorium, Doss, high school auditorium and many other buildings.

The size of those facilities begs the question: Why is the very important meeting about the school bond and city elections being held in a tiny little church? Are the powers to be scared that the citizens might actually attend? Are they afraid that if the citizens learn the truth that they might actually take action? Is this part of the strategy to keep the voting numbers in the disgraceful range?

Power to the people.
