COLUMN: Do you know who you voted for?

— When a man takes the office of president, he swears to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.

Does that not include enforcing the laws that have been passed by previous legislative branches and signed by a former president? The Defense of Marriage Act was signed into law by President Bill Clinton. President Obama ordered his Justice Department to ignore the law. Is it alright for the man to pick and choose the laws that he likes, or dislikes? I thought that America was a land of laws, not of men.

The president said that there was nothing that he could do about integration without Congressional participation, but a little light came on in his head and he decided that allowing certain young folks to remain might just possibly gather a few more votes.

The best that I can tell, the Constitution is a thorn in his side and he will continue to shred it.

The man lied to the American people about what caused the death of the four Americans in Benghazi. He and his puppets said the cause for the attack was a YouTube video, which was released in July. In reality, it was a well-planned attack by a terrorist group on the anniversary of the 9/11 attack on the Twin Towers. Is the death of four of our brave citizens just a “bump in the road,” as the president said in an interview?

According to Oklahoma Sen. Jim Inhofe, the EPA is supposed to release their agenda proposals every six months as prescribed by law. The fact of the matter is that none have been released since 2011. The president ordered that no agenda be released until after the election. The man has no regard for the laws of this country.

If you believe that President Obama is concerned about the middle class, you might want to take a look at what happened to the middle class in other countries that were foolish enough to believe the lies of a arrogant, egoistical dictator.
