Zimmerman was found not guilty by a jury of his peers. Trial by Jury is a basic law in our jurisprudence system. Whether you agree with the jury’s verdict or not we all need to abide by it. Otherwise you are saying, I like the system only when it agrees with what I think personally. That can not be the norm! Everyone must believe and accept that trial by a jury of your peers is the fairest way to settle disputes and criminal cases. You might not like the outcome presented to you by the verdict of the jury but that is the law and we all should uphold it. What do you think?
The media does some strange things when reporting on criminal cases. For example, the media kept showing the public a very nice angelic looking picture of a twelve year old Trayvon Martin instead of a mature seventeen year old one. In other cases the media will show a very mean looking picture of a suspect. Could this be a subtle attempt by the media to influence our personal opinion; or maybe not. What do you think?
Gov. Perry has elected not to seek another term as the governor of Texas. There is much talk about how this will affect the next gubernatorial election results. It may energize the Democratic party to place some good constitutional candidates on the ballot in the Primary contest. The same applies to the Republican party. The Democrats will be at a big disadvantage if they follow the medias love for Wendy Davis and select her as their candidate. Wendy is for everything bad for the people and against everything that is good for the people, We need candidates, from both parties, who understand one of our nations leading founding principles, individual freedom not government control of it’s citizens.
