A rare opportunity
Do you remember the “MISSION ACCOMPLISHED” sign that the personnel on the USS Abraham Lincoln displayed to greet President Bush when he went out to greet them?
The sign was made by the sailors and airmen, but from the fire storm that it caused, you would think that the president constructed the sign and climbed up and placed it all by himself.
President Obama says that Osama Bin Laden is dead and General Motors is alive. He thinks that he has completely eradicated Al Qaeda when he killed Bin Laden. In my opinion that is the reason that he failed to provide security for the people in Benghazi. In his mind the terrorists will leave us alone if we show them what nice people we are, we don’t even display weapons.
I don’t have a lot of respect for a commander and chief that tells his underlings to take care of the attack on Benghazi. He leaves the room and is not to be found until the next day. He has got to go to a fundraising event in Nevada.
Have you noticed that he is never present when there is a serious decision to be made? The man does not want his name connected to any thing, that might be detrimental to his constant campaigning.
Campaigning is the only thing that he does well. In a speech to the graduating class at Ohio State University he said that there will be those who will warn you against big government, but don’t pay any attention to them. He mentioned getting your children in school sooner. In my opinion that is the reason that we have so many liberal educators. The sooner you start the better chance that you have of creating more little socialist voters. Instead of listening to that hare brain nonsense, it would be wise to teach your children what happens to those that follow the teaching of Karl Marx.
There are those that say President Bush lied and thousands died. If you believe that story, why don’t you ask the Kurds the Shiite’s and the Iranian soldiers who were attacked with poison gas. Almost every intelligence agency in the world agreed that Saddam had poison gas. There is a good possibility that it was moved to Syria, according to an Iraqi general, “Saddam’s Secrets” by Georges Sada.
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said what difference does it make. I happen to think that it makes a tremendous difference to the families that lost loved ones, because of incompetence. I detest the lies that were told to the American people, that it was an anti Muslim video, when it was known that it was a terrorist attack from day one. The president and Secretary Hillary Clinton made a video to show in Pakistan, that touted the lie, that it was the video, knowing full well that it was a lie. That video only cost the tax payers $70,000. The American people need to know who told the troops, that wanted to go help the Ambassador and his staff, to stand down.
Why do you suppose the president refuses to release his college transcripts, is it because he is not the smartest man to hold the office, or he went to college as a foreign student, or could it be his modesty? The president is missing a great opportunity to be remembered in history as a great American, not a great president but a great citizen, all he would have to do is follow President Nixon’s lead and resign.

No misunderstanding of IRS’ intent
Only someone seriously ignorant of the facts or irremediably partisan can look at the intentional and selective harassment of not-for-profit organizations by the IRS and claim it has been “misrepresented.”
As noted by USA Today: In February 2010, the Champaign Tea Party in Illinois received approval of its tax-exempt status from the IRS in 90 days, no questions asked.
That was the month before the Internal Revenue Service started singling out Tea Party groups for special treatment. There wouldn’t be another Tea Party application approved for 27 months.
In that time, the IRS approved perhaps dozens of applications from similar liberal and progressive groups, a USA TODAY review of IRS data shows.
It takes a perverse and willful blindness to ignore the admission of wrongdoing and the apology proffered by the head of the IRS division in question (Wall Street Journal), let alone that the acting IRS commissioner “[…] repeatedly failed to tell Congress that Tea Party groups were being targeted, even after he had been briefed on the matter.” (Boston Globe).
Yes, the IRS has been used as a political tool in the past – by Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Harry Truman, John F. Kennedy, Richard Nixon, Bill Clinton and, now, Barack Hussein Obama. That it has happened in the past is no justification for its continuance in the present.
The IRS was not “doing its job, as prescribed by law” – it was indulging in a calculated effort to persecute organizations with political views at odds with those of the administration. To claim otherwise is rank duplicity.
