Abortion is one of the most divisive and controversial issues of our day. People generally have strong views about abortion. It is not a social issue of mere preference, but an issue about life and death.
GUEST OPINION: Lack of adult education confuses children
Are we putting our children in danger? As a mother, it is my duty to love and raise my children to be strong, independent and productive members of society. But in doing so, it is necessary to educate them in the dangers that the world can present – be good little boys and girls, but be wary.

I suppose it’s human nature for each person to feel that his or her personal needs are greatest and most important. Not a day goes by that I do not see on television newscasts or read in the paper about individuals or groups demanding that their personal agendas receive immediate attention by government officials or agencies. Without doubt many such needs are worthy of public attention, but I personally feel that perhaps these folks should work a little harder at solving their own problems.

The enterprise of public education is huge in Texas. Consider the numbers – 5 million children inside 8,000 school campuses under the leadership of 1,026 independent school districts.

Late in the 1st Century the Apostle John wrote, “God is love.” He wrote under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. He was declaring God’s self-revelation. 1 John 4:19 served to confirm the basis for Christian love to be God’s character.

The implementation of the American Care Act that will effect everyone alive today and born tomorrow is right around the corner. I could continue on with how we got here, which party created it and which one didn’t, etc, etc.; those who got waivers/exemptions, etc etc.

The roll out of Healthcare.gov has been a complete disaster. Stories of the site malfunctioning are being reported everywhere. Regular Americans are having extreme difficulty signing up.
