Brock's Linsey Hays helped lead the Lady Eagles to their second state title this season, the Class 2A crown in softball.

Hays dominated opponents, and also served as the leadoff hitter because of her speed and hitting talents, and was named the All-APC softball Most Valuable Player.

Hays has verbally committed to play at Baylor University.

Weatherford's Hannah Schnebly, an All-APC pick from last season, took Pitcher of the Year honors.

Her teammate, Randi Tongate, was named Defensive Player of the Year, as the Lady Roos' catcher. Tongate has committed to Texas Tech.

Aledo's Easton Cook was selected Offensive Player of the Year.

Cook found her stroke in the playoffs, having two two-homer games in the postseason.

Brock head coach Sara Williamson was named Coach of the Year.
