Local Brief - Area athletes represented on All-State teams

District 9-2A saw four area baseball players selected to the 2009 All-State 2A baseball team. Brock pitcher Coleman Bowden was selected to the second team, as well as catcher Zack Patino, while Peaster’s Ethan Murphy took second team third base honors and Micah Easterling was named to the third team as a pitcher.
