Aledo 49 Brewer 7

Aledo running back Joel Hasley scored four TDs as the Bearcats had little trouble in its inaugural foray into District 6-4A. Aledo piled up nearly 300 yards running the ball and wide receiver Aaron Corby topped 130 yards from quarterback Tanner McDonald tosses, with one of those resulting in a touchdown.



Boswell 46 Springtown 20

The Pioneers put 16 points on the board before Springtown could get untracked and found momentum again in the second half, scoring 30 unanswered points. Boswell stifled Pojo’s running game, allowing less than 65 yards in 31 Porcupine attempts in the district opener for both teams.



Millsap 20 Perrin-Whitt 14

Bulldogs quarterback Trey Matthews put the finishing 3-yard TD touch on two fourth quarter scores, as Millsap notched a comeback win over the Pirates. Matthews’ score was set up by a 50-yard Matt Cowans run on the final drive. Millsap’s Brady Fluitt’s fumble-recovery touchdown just two and half minutes earlier set up the go ahead score.



Arlington St. Paul’s 42

Weatherford Christian 34

In a close contest, the Lions fell just short, missing a bid to pull out the game in the closing seconds. At the end of a final drive by Weatherford Christian, the Warriors stopped the Lions at the 4-yard line as time expired.
