Brock Eagles, Lady Eagles fare well at Region II Meet

The Brock Lady Eagles cross country team finished first at Region II Meet at Vandergriff Park in Arlington Saturday. Kamy Cole finished first for the second straight year to lead the Lady Eagles. The girls’ team has won meets at Keene, Decatur, Lipan, Grand Prarie, Mansfield and Cisco.

The Brock boys’ team finished second, improving from last year’s fifth-place finish. The Eagles have won meets earlier in the season at Lipan and Cisco. The cross country state meet will be held at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock Saturday, Nov. 14. The girls will run at 10 a.m., and the boys will start at 10:20 a.m.

Bailey Barksdale — 7th Place

Payton Shoush — 8th Place

Kambrie Shoush — 14th Place

Savannah Fisher — 22nd Place

Kylie Ducat — 36th Place

Sawyer Merida — 45th Place



BOYS TEAM

Conner Blanton — 15th Place

Kelly Clark — 20th Place

Spencer Godby — 24th Place

Troy Faulkner — 25th Place

Lane Southern — 31st Place

Keith Steel — 80th Place

Ryan Sears — 118th Place
