WC cagers offer thoughts for Holiday season

Student-athletes from the Weatherford College basketball teams recently shared their own reflections on what the holidays mean to them.

The thoughts often merge around family — and then there’s “coffee and chocolate” ... 

 

Lady Coyotes

 

Zippy Khasoa - “It reminds me of the happy times with my family and friends. It helps me to relax my mind and get ready for the New Year.”

 

Jacqueline Chandler - “Giving to others.”

 

Ciara Johnson - “Time to spend with your family.”

 

Kaylee Brooks - “Spending time with family, getting in better shape, sharpening my basketball skills, spending time with friends, relaxing, time to be thankful.”

 

Ruth Adwar - “Spending time with my family. Having lots of fun. Visiting new places, exploring places.”

Toma Zaleckaite -“Going home to North Carolina. I enjoy visiting my family, having family dinners and talking for hours. Furthermore, the holiday season means drinking lots of coffee and eating lots of chocolate.”
