The Brock boys captured the District 9-2A team championship in the district tournament held at Brock on Tuesday and Wednesday. Brock will send six boys and two girls to the Region II Tournament at Tarleton State University, April 15-18.
Peaster won the girls team championship, sending five girls and one boy to the regional tourney.

Earlier in the month, the Brock tennis team competed in the Texas Tennis Coaching Association’s (TTCA) State Team Tennis tournament, placing third overall, with wins over Wink (10-0) and Godley (6-3) before suffering a loss to the eventual State Champion Mason (4-10). Brock rebounded to beat Reagan County (13-6) in the third place match. The state tourney was Brock’s fifth appearance in the tournament in the past six years.
Team tennis is currently sanctioned by the University Interscholastic League for Class 4A and 5A, and sanctioned by the TTCA for 1A, 2A and 3A. Class 3A will join UIL competition with the next realignment.
