Area, state prep football results

The Eagles defense blanked Tornillo until a meaningless score given up in the fourth quarter, with the final score at 62-8.

Quarterback Seth Boles connected with three different receivers for touchdowns. Besides the opening toss to Gray, Boleman found Kolbin Mills (20 yards) and Titus Gossett (10 yards).

Leddy French had a pair of touchdowns runs, as did Slaten Gough. In addition to his receiving TD, Tyler Gray also had a scoring run of five yards.

Brock is off this week and will travel to play Dallas  Roosevelt in its season finale on Nov. 8.
