Dawson Hinkley, taking over for Turner on offense, scored the last two touchdowns for Springtown, on runs of 10 and 20 yards, respectively.
The Porcupines, qualifying for the playoffs with a No. 2 seed, will face District 5-3A’s fourth seed Wichita Falls Hirschi Thursday at Memorial Stadium.
“We split time this week, putting half our focus on Diamond Hill, and the other half on Hirschi, because next week is going to be a short week,” Turner said. “We started this year 1-4 and we finished the district 4-1 so we’re peaking at the right time I think.
“We’d love to get a bi-district trophy.”
