Summer athletic camps — June/July

— Kapron’s Kangaroo Football set for June 27 at Roo Stadium

Staff Report

Former Weatherford High student-athlete Kapron Lewis-Moore is bringing his football expertise back to Weatherford later this month to impart his knowledge to the local youth.

After graduating from Weatherford in 2008, Lewis-Moore continued his football career while furthering his education, playing defensive end for the University of Notre Dame Fighting Irish. He was a team captain during the 2012 season.

Kapron was selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the 2013 NFL draft.

The Weatherford ISD Education Foundation will host the 2014 Kapron Kangaroo Football Camp, designed for boys and girls entering grades 1-6 in the fall. The camp will offer both offensive and defensive drills for the kids and parents/guardians are encouraged to watch from the stands.
