WISD announces change to varsity football schedule

— Staff Report

Weatherford ISD has announced a change in the original schedule for the Weatherford varsity football team.

The Oct. 19 contest against Paschal, which is the only Saturday game the Roos will play, will start at 2:30 p.m. instead of the originally slated 1 p.m. start. No other changes have been announced.

On the revised schedule, the start time for the Aug. 23 scrimmage at Ennis has yet to be determined.

The only other non-Friday ballgame for the WHS varsity will be the Thursday-night match against Arlington Bowie on Sept. 26, at Wilemon Field.
