Parker County summer athletic camps

— Staff Report

And then there was one ...

Well, actually two — summer athletic camps still available. Brock’s summer football camp will cap off the veritable smorgasbord of athletic instructional camps Parker County has offered all summer long.

Eagles head football coach Chad Worrell will direct the camp, which is being offered to incoming seventh and eighth-graders.

Weatherford College has announced a one-day camp for elementary-age kids. The camp is a one-day affair offering instruction for offensive and defensive skills. The two-hour session, to be held on Sat., Aug.31, will begin at 9 a.m. at WC’s Stuart Field, which is located beside Roger Williams Ballpark on the southeast side of the campus. The camp will feature plenty of instructors, as all of the WC softball coaches and players will be on hand.

Interested parties should contact Coyotes head softball coach Haylee Williams via email (hwilliams@wc.edu) for more information or to confirm registration.
