Summer athletic camps — July

July camps are plentiful for young athletes returning from June vacations 

Staff Report

Fresh off of a Texas United Football League title and an impending invite to the national stage, the Texas Bullets semi-pro football team will impart its gridiron knowledge via a pair of 3-day camp sessions. The first, for grades three through five will span the July 4th Holiday.

Camps for various sports pursuits are rolling in for the middle of summer., with plenty of options yet available at virtually all of the area schools. Interested parties are urged to register early to assure the camp directors can line up sufficient instructional resources.

Texas Bullets Football Camps

Eligible Campers: Grades 3 — 8 (Fall 2014)

When: Grades 3 — 5;  July 7-9 

          Grades 6 — 8; July 14-16

Time: 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

Where: Hall Middle School Football Field

Cost: $55

Weatherford Volleyball Team Camp

Eligible Campers: Grades 4 — 12

When: July 28 - 31

Times/Costs: Grades 4-8 — 9 a.m. til Noon — $75

                    Grades  9-12 – 1 p.m. til 4 p.m. — $95

Where: Weatherford High School Gymnasium

Costs: $70 ($10 discount per addt’l sibling)

Community Ed Volleyball Camps

Eligible Campers: Grades 2-8 (Fall 2014)

When: July 21-24

Time(s): Grades 2-5; 9 a.m. - 11 a.m.

              Grades 6-8; 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.

Where: Hall Middle School “A” Gym

Cost: $50
