Aledo honors seniors

— Staff Report

Aledo had plenty to celebrate on Tuesday, honoring its seniors before a pivotal District 7-4A match against FW Trimble Tech, and then basking in the glow of another district championship in its 60-57 come-from-behind win over the Lady Bulldogs.

The Ladycats, finishing with a perfect 14-0 district mark, will face either Crowley or Burleson in the bi-district round at a site and time to be determined.

Aledo, who navigated through the Class 4A playoff brackets last season looks to make a return trip to Austin in 2014.
