WSA extends fall registration

Staff Report

The Weatherford Soccer Association (WSA) has extended its on-line registration period for the Fall 2013 soccer season. The extension will last until Saturday midnight on June 29, and includes the “team core protection” and waiving of the $20 late fee.

Links to the WSA website, and the registration form, can be found at www.weatherfordsoccer.com.

Fees for players, age three through seven are $75 each, and $80 for age eight and above. The fees cover the uniform (shirt, shorts and socks), a new soccer ball and NTSSA membership (secondary insurance coverage).

The fall season begins Saturday, Sept. 7. For more information contact WSA registrar Clay Yarborough at 817-613-6860.

Letter to 2012 varsity football season ticket holders:

Dear Weatherford High School Football Fans,

It is football time again at Kangaroo Stadium. The purpose of this letter is to inform you of the upcoming renewal of your season tickets for the 2013 WHS Kangaroo Varsity Football Season.

Season Ticket Renewal

All persons who held season tickets to Weatherford High School Varsity Football games for the 2012 season have first option to purchase tickets this year. During the renewal process, you will be able to renew your seats or select a different location if the seat is available. This option must be exercised in writing between July 15, 2013 and August 1. The price for a four-game season ticket book is $28.00

Beginning August 5, 2013, all remaining tickets will be available to the public.

Please come to the Athletic Office, 912 Charles Street, located between Hall Middle School and the District Services Building for ticket purchases. Tickets will no longer be sold in the business office.

Parking Pass

As a season ticket holder, you will have an option to purchase a reserved parking pass. There are approximately 200 spaces available in the north parking lot of the stadium with an entrance from Eureka Street. These spaces will be sold on a “first come-first sold” basis to the 2013 season ticket holders. This is also the same price as last year -$50 for the season. Once again this option must be exercised on or before August 1.

Your patronage and support of the athletic program is greatly appreciated and helps build our support for these young students.

Sincerely,

Richard Scoggin

Weatherford ISD Executive Director of Athletics
