The annual Peaster-Brock meeting at WC’s Roger Williams Ballpark was originally set for Tuesday, but the threat of a cold rain convinced the Hounds-Eagles coaches to push the date until Thursday. The game is set to start at 7:30 p.m. On Friday, the Eagles travel to play the district finale at Ponder, also a 7:30 p.m. first pitch.
Taking advantage of its bi-district bye in bracket play, Brock will play a couple of warm-up games next week, traveling to play Mansfield Legacy on Monday before returning to host Muenster on Friday. Both games are 7 p.m. starts.
The Eagles have kept a steady diet of non-conference games on their slate the past two weeks, as well, beating Glen Rose a week ago Tuesday, and topping Bangs last Saturday. Brock is currently undefeated in district play and 26-3 on the season.
