Boosters host a night of gridiron 'Madness'

— Brock’s Football Booster Club organized a “Midnight Madness” event to generate some excitement for the Eagles’ upcoming football season. The boosters sold t-shirts and other Eagle’s fan gear to the people who attended the event, which began at around 9 p.m., on Sunday.

The younger kids played on the field for a couple of hours before the high school players took the field at midnight as the clock ushered in Monday, and the first practice of the year. There were a couple of hundred people on hand for the event.

Brock’s first football action will be a scrimmage the Eagles will host against Anson on August 16. Brock’s first regular season game will also be at home, hosting Dallas Gateway Charter at Brock Junior High.

The Eagles hope to host their next home game, slated for Oct. 11 against Fort Worth Christian., will be at their new stadium which is under construction at Brock High School.
