Turner breaking more records

WEATHERFORD —

Just weeks after equalling the Hardin-Simmons University record for touchdown passes in a single football game, former Springtown student-athlete Logan Turner was at it again.

Against Sul Ross last weekend, Turner threw for 685 yards and eight touchdowns, both HSU and American Southwest Conference records.

There were 23 NCAA, conference or school records broken in the game, which HSU won, 86-42. As of Saturday, the Cowboys held a 4-1 conference record and were set to play at Texas Lutheran on the road.
