Brock, Peaster and Millsap to serve up district play

The Brock Lady Eagles posted a 1-1 record last week with a pair of home dates. Brock earned a win on Tuesday by sweeping the No. 15-ranked Class 3A Krum Lady Bobcats. The set scores were 25-10, 25-19, and 25-15. 

On Friday, the Lady Eagles again hosted a state-ranked opponent, facing off against the No. 5-ranked 3A Argyle Lady Eagles. Brock took the talented Class 3A squad to the limit before falling in five sets,  25-19, 18-25, 25-20, 14-25, and 11-15. 

On the season, Brock sports a 20-8 record, with all eight of its losses against ranked opponents (1A Jewett-Leon, 2A Crawford, 3A Springtown, 3A Abilene Wylie, 3A Decatur, 3A Longview Spring Hill and 3A Argyle). 

The Lady Eagles travel to play Class 3A Glen Rose on Tuesday for their final pre-district match of the year. The BHS girls will open district  play on the road, playing the Paradise Lady Panthers on Friday.

Also starting up their District 9-2A slate on Friday are Peaster, traveling to take on Ponder, while Millsap is at home, hosting Boyd.
